Today, I’m all hyper because Thursday Bram and I are launching a joint bid for world domination blog, Constructively Productive.
Thursday and I bonded over a gigantic pile of Lego (she says “Legos”, I say “Lego”) at South by South West back in March, and over lunch, plotted to take over the blogosphere came up with plans for a blog which would give a more balanced and nuanced approach to productivity than the hundred-ways-to-ninja-power-your-keyboard stuff that seems so ubiquitous.
A couple of weeks ago, we roped in some of the most creative, inventive and clever folks we know to answer one simple question…
What’s your biggest productivity tip that flies in the face of “conventional” advice?
The responses have been brilliant: a range of tips and thoughts from the practical to the wacky, with a good dollop of humour and passion alongside.
(It’s a long post, so you might want to bookmark it or even print it for easier reading.)
I’ll be continuing to blog here on Aliventures as normal, of course, but if you’re looking for some different voices (Thursday, myself and a bunch of fab guest posters) and a refreshing alternative to the same old productivty advice which makes you feel guilty and exhausted, then go check out Constructively Productive or grab the Constructively Productive RSS feed here.

Thanks all! Hope you enjoy reading.
Sounds fab Ali! Congratulations on your latest venture. So often I try to read productivity blogs and it feels like an echo chamber… the same ads on the sidebars, the same advice; almost like they are just blogging for each other. Really looking forward to a fresh perspective

Ooh, how lovely to see you here, Shauna!
And yeah, we wanted to get out of that echo chamber feeling (sometimes I think it’s a secret cult which all the other productivity people have been inducted into…) Keep enjoying! x
This is interesting. I’m excited to know about the people you work with and read their stuff.
