Hi Ali,

Thank you for creating a very useful and inspiring blog! I was very encouraged today, while reading 7 Habits of Serious Writers. I’ve signed up for your free eBook and I hope to stay connected…as I am an aspiring (serious) writer, currently in southern China, where I am trying to complete a novella series close to my heart, launch a series of (English learning) eBooks for the Chinese market and still hold down a (fairly demanding) “day job” (teaching English). I was feeling a little down today…but then the tide took me to your delightful blog and I now feel the courage returning…all because you first roused enough courage to actually follow through! So again, THANK YOU. I see that you’re based in the best place in the world…Oxford. I spent a summer there in 2003, while completing a literature programme at Exeter College, Oxford U, and I hope to make the UK my home one day.
